OCuSOFT® Lid Scrub™ is a mild eyelid cleanser that effectively removes oil, debris and desquamated (dead) skin from the eyelids. It is recommended for routine daily eyelid hygiene and maintenance.

  • Cocamidopropyl Hydroxysultaine (CAHS): It is a synthetic amphoteric surfactant from the hydroxysultaine group that is found in many personal care products.
  • Quaternium-15: It is a quaternary ammonium salt used as a preservative in many cosmetics and industrial substances. It acts as a formaldehyde releaser.

Description

OCuSOFT® Lid Scrub® eyelid cleansers are intended for daily use.  Their mild, non-irritating formulations are 16X milder than baby shampoo (which was the standard of care until OCuSOFT®).  OCuSOFT® Lid Scrub® eyelid cleansers are effective and intended for continuous daily eyelid hygiene use.  The root cause of anterior blepharitis is the overproduction of oils.  Mild surfactants in OCuSOFT® Lid Scrub® eyelid cleansers act to dissolve and remove oil, debris and desquamated skin.
